Columbia's Student Affairs is hosting  a Columbia 101 Session for local South Florida incoming first year students. This year there are 36 incoming students coming from Broward, Palm Beach and Miami-Dade counties!  The session provides incoming students and their families a chance to meet before arriving on campus in August.  This year, there will be a special breakout session for alumni in attendance where they can learn about ways to get involved in the many volunteer opportunities that Columbia has to offer. Eugenio Cano (CC 1995) ,  president of Columbia Alumni Club of South Florida, will be on site to welcome the recently admitted CC and Engineering students and share his experiences as a Columbia University volunteer.  All Columbia alumni are invited to attend.
