Dance Now! Miami Presents an Evening of Dance including VIP Champagne Reception with the dancers backstage following the show.
The Program: Dance NOW! presents the critically acclaimed Odisea, by New York based choreographer Carolyn Dorfman, chronicling the physical, emotional, and spiritual journey of twenty-three Jews fleeing persecution in Recife, Brazil in 1654 and their journey and ultimate landing on American soil in New Amsterdam. The choreographer will be present at the performances to talk about the piece and her "Legacy Project" of Jewish Themed works. Artistic Directors Diego Salterini and Hannah Baumgarten also contribute to the evening of dance with a world premiere collaboration with Composer Federico Bonacossa and Fashion Designer Renato Armijo and an encore presentation of “Head of the Table,” the peculiar dance comedy, originally presented in June of 2014.
Cost: $40 for VIP ticket that includes reserved seating and a champagne reception (regular price $50). Limited number of seats, first-come first-serve. Online ticket sales are closed. You must purchase your tickets at the Fillmore Box Office with ticket code "Barnard."

While at Barnard, Allyn trained with Allegra Kent (NYCB), Robert La Fosse (NYCB/ABT), Cynthia Anderson (ABT/Joffrey), and Katie Glasner (Twyla Tharp Dance). Allyn is also an attorney admitted to practice law in NY and FL.
