The Business School's Alumni Club of South Florida is pleased to invite the Columbia Alumni in Florida, Istanbul, and Canada to a special event with Stijn Van Nieuwerburgh, Earle W. Kazis and Benjamin Schore Professor of Real Estate. Professor Van Nieuwerburgh will discuss how the COVID-19 pandemic has led to large disruptions in patterns of work and residence. His presentation will document large changes in rent and price gradients within cities, suggesting that urban residents have increasingly fled the centers of cities toward suburbs. A Q&A will follow.
