Join fellow Columbia Alumni for a private guided tour of the Margulies Collection at the Warehouse.
The Margulies Collection at the Warehouse is a non-profit institution located in a 45,000 square foot retro-fitted warehouse in the Wynwood Arts District of Miami. The Warehouse presents seasonal exhibitions from the collection of renowned collector Martin Z. Margulies as well as educational programs, & special exhibitions and an international loan program. Consistently named to lists such as the ARTnews Top 200 Collectors, the Margulies collection is considered by curators, critics, artists, dealers and collectors as one of the most important collections of its kind.
After the tour, we will meet for lunch at the Wynwood Kitchen and Bar at 2550 NW Second Avenue Miami, FL. We are not making a reservation at the restaurant.
Admission is $25 per person and will directly benefit the Sundari Foundation, which operates the Lotus House Shelter. Online RSVP closed on 2/18. Walk-ins are welcome, and invited to pay at the door.
Please note the following liability information provided by the Margulies Collection: The stairwells are somewhat steep. Attendees will be advised to use care in ascending and descending the stairs. Wear comfortable shoes, use additional caution, be aware that the floor is concrete, always use the handrail, and be aware that there is limited seating.
